Opening Day Parade CANCELED

Due to incoming weather we have made the difficult decision to cancel the parade and our Opening Day festivities for Saturday. This was not an easy call but with uncertain weather it was the best choice in the interest of the well being of all our players. Thank you for understanding.

All Norwood Little League children are invited to walk in the parade. The parade steps off at 10AM and will go from the Norwood Elks to the Norwood LL Complex (Coakley Middle School).

Only A Ball, AA Ball, Minors and Majors will be going from the Elks. All of these kids need to be dropped off at the Elks at 930AM in order to be organized by team in the parade. Each team is encouraged to create a banner for the parade. It is also recommended that parents drop off children, then drive to the Coakley or somewhere on the parade route to meet your children after the Opening Day festivities.

ROOKIE LEAGUE- The Rookie league players will step off from the Balch Elementary School. Please have your children at the Balch by 930 too. The roads will close at 945.

The parade will end at the Little League Complex and all of the players will be gathered on the outfield of Kelley Field. There will be some remarks by our Little League President and others. Then there will be jumphouses, food trucks, and other activities. Plus at 11AM we will have 2 AA games, followed by a 3rd AA game at 1PM. Also at 1PM will be a A Ball game, with the other 2 A Ball games at 3PM.
